Whitewash (2011)        (click on images to see galleries)

Link to Whitewash Series Page
Luminous, internally illuminated landscapes in thick frames in which the untrammelled snow contrasts with the barely-concealed debris which remains, only partially hidden from view.

Theatres of Glass (2010 - 2011)

Enigmatic scenes from an ongoing improvisation.

Landscapes (2006 - 2011)

Inspired by the broad expanses of the Caithness landscape, in the far northeast of Scotland, these do not represent any particular place, but rather use icons and a sense of the volume of space to represent an emotional response to personal and political issues.

Upper Deck Observations (2006)

Riding the upper deck of the bus, mobile camera in hand, snapping spontaneously.  Separated from the subjects by the window of the bus and its motion down the street.

Observing but apathetic.

Based on images taken from a mobile phone camera, they are designed to fit into unused mobile phones.

Glare (2005)

Iconic toilet graffitti.

Insomnia & CCTV (2005)

Even when alone I still feel watched.

Observed: Separated (2003)

Part of the Propaganda of War exhibition.

Mario, Alone (2003)

Hamlet (2002)

Inspired by the mind-blowingly brilliant folk at Synetic Theater, with special thanks to Paata & Irina Tsikurishvili.
